**Ord. (2019)** # What Is It? Ord. is a text adventure game that tells stories three words at a time. It was made in Unity and shipped on Windows, Mac and Linux on Steam. It is currently on 94% positive reviews (as of 03 Sep 2020) and was selected to appear at AdventureX 2019, a narrative games convention. # What Did I Do? I joined the team as a Unity/C# programmer after the game had initially shipped on Windows and worked on the "Big Update" that shipped in August 2019. This involved lots of bug fixing, a rewrite of the saving and loading system to support multiple stories and implementing a new colour grading visual effect and integrating it into the existing effects system. Additionally, I was in charge of the Mac and Linux builds and occasionally had to fix low-level problems specific to these operating systems. I also did extensive work on a user-facing story editor that was unfortunately never released. This was a bespoke application created in Unity that has support for navigating, editing and testing stories in an intuitive way, saving and loading projects and exporting stories to the game's format. # Screenshots Click for fullscreen.
